About VEGETABLE OIL
Cooked vegetable oil is oil derived from plant sources (like soybeans, sunflowers, or corn) that has been used in cooking processes. It is commonly found in kitchens and as a component in various human foods. For pets, particularly cats and dogs, small amounts of cooked vegetable oil are generally safe and can even be a source of fat in their diet. However, excessive ingestion can lead to gastrointestinal upset, including diarrhea and vomiting. More severe or chronic consumption can potentially contribute to pancreatitis or obesity. Hence, while not outright toxic, it should be offered in moderation and under veterinary guidance.
