About CHERRY

Organic cherries are fruits grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. They can be found in grocery stores, farmers' markets, and through organic produce suppliers. While cherries themselves are not inherently toxic to cats and dogs, they pose several risks. The pits contain cyanogenic compounds which can release cyanide and cause poisoning if ingested. The pits can also cause gastrointestinal blockages. Additionally, the stems and leaves of the cherry plant also contain cyanogenic compounds. Therefore, it is recommended to keep cherries out of reach of pets and consult a veterinarian if accidental ingestion occurs.
